Canine/Feline Dentistry 101

Canine/Feline Dentistry 101:  2 Day Seminar/Lab

Cost:  $1597

Credits: 16 CE hrs*

Date: December 14-15, 2019

Location:  Memphis Veterinary Specialists  Memphis, TN

Overview:

Unfortunately, veterinary schools do not teach advanced dental training to their students. Students are lucky to receive just a few hours of dental education and they go into the workforce with marginal training. It happened to me as well.

This seminar allows the practitioner to get a comprehensive overview of canine and feline dental anatomy and pathology, as well as identifying radiographic pathology. Periodontal disease, the bread and butter of your dental practice, will be reviewed. The hands-on laboratory will show the attendee how to perform crown amputations and surgical extractions in the cat, surgical extractions of the maxillary canine tooth and maxillary 4th premolar in the dog, as well as regional nerve blocks and pain management for the dog and cat.
