A Comprehensive Oral and Radiographic Assessment is more than just a dog or cat teeth cleaning. It’s your pet’s best protection against periodontal disease. We begin with a pre-anesthetic exam to assess your pet’s overall health, followed by taking x-rays and a CT scan of your pet’s teeth, before performing an anesthetized teeth cleaning. At Your Pet Dentist, our goal is to stop oral disease before it starts. By beginning teeth cleanings for your cat or dog between their first and second year of life and maintaining them annually thereafter, you can prevent costly oral procedures later in your pet’s life.

If you have concerns about placing your pet under anesthesia for their teeth cleaning, we also have a Board-Certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist™, Dr. Martin Kennedy, available for remote anesthetic monitoring. Placing your pet under anesthesia for their teeth cleaning is essential for your pet’s comfort and also allows our team to clean just under the gum line, as well as scale and polish your pet’s teeth.
